Narrow, bell-shaped flowers of rich plum purple, almost black, alternate up the stem. They dangle above glaucous gray-green leaves. Plant with Narcissus 'Stainless' () or 'Angelique' Tulips () to provide a light backdrop for the spectacular dark bloom spikes.
