The Giuseppe Verdi - Kaufmanniana tulip blooms are opening early spring. The tulip is small but has large flowers that are creamy-white inside and pink-red on the outside. On the base of the there is a yellow spot. The stems are 4 to 10 inches high and the leaves are speckled or striped. The petals open when it's sunny and will create a different color effect than when closed.
Flowering time: If the weather is good, from the end of March
Planting time: From half September until the end of December, as long as there is no frost in the ground.
Plant the bulbs approximately 8-10 cm deep whith a distance of 10-12 cm in groups in prennial and spring flowering beds. Tulips will grow on a sunny and half shadowed place in every kind of ground.
Save the bulbs on a dry and cool place until you plant the bulbs.
